Stratton Flaggery 2024: Fluttering through Stratton's History


​Did you know that Making Place is based in glorious Stratton, on the edge of Cirencester.  Stratton is an old community.  We even have an entry in the Doomsday book!  We became part of Cirencester in 1935 and are often eclipsed by our famous Roman neighbour!  Stratton Flaggery launched in 2024.  This community centred creative history project was delivered as part of the inaugural Cirencester History Festival and gave shape to a myriad of contributions from individuals, families, groups and businesses shared as flags , banners and displays around Stratton on FLAGGERY DAY 2nd November 2024.
